Terms and conditions for the Tomorrow Award competition
- Entries must have been published between 1 January 2026 and 15 December 2026, inclusive.
- Entries may include series and published books.
- Entries must relate to investigative journalism in South Africa and align with the award purpose.
- Each entry must include a motivation.
Submission requirements
- All files for one nomination must be submitted together and linked to the submitting individual.
- The entrant must confirm they have the right to submit the material and share it with the judges.
- The entrant must confirm that all information supplied is accurate.
- The entrant must accept that files will be made available to the judging panel for review.
Admin / legal / privacy points to include
- Ninety One reserves the right to verify publication details and eligibility.
- Ninety One is the founder and sponsor of the award only, is not part of the judging panel, and cannot influence the judging process or the selection of the winner.
- Incomplete submissions may not be considered.
- Large files may be submitted either by upload or secure link, provided access is unrestricted to judges.
- Personal information will be used only for administration of the award and judging process.
- The judges may contact entrants for clarification or additional material.
- Final judging decisions are final.
